Flattening the Curve - Combating the Spread of COVID-19
Pursuant to Gov. Abbott's executive order - effective immediately - our office will be extending our postponement of all dental procedures except for emergency treatment until April 21st. My team and I will outline protocols for your visits on a Facebook live video tomorrow. We are available to treat dental emergencies for patients which might otherwise end up in the already and will be increasingly crowded hospital ERs. If you're already a patient here, you will certainly be seen and treated with priority.
Emergency and Medically Necessary Treatment Includes cracked/broken teeth, trauma, facial swelling, pain associated with decay, dental infections, and wisdom teeth pain. If you’re in pain, call us.
Additional Measures for COVID-19
We are monitoring developments daily in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies, and internal teams to stay abreast of new information and safety measures that can be taken. We are following recommendations from these leading teams and implementing any process changes as required. Our staff is trained to recognize symptoms of COVID-19 so additional safety measures will be taken immediately if there is a potential exposure.
Clearly, patient safety is our top priority. We are confident we can and will be able to care for you (and your family’s) dental needs in a safe and effective manner, and rest assured we will make adjustments as the situation dictates and as directed by authorities. We look forward to keeping our family of patients happy and healthy!
Your safety and the safety of our community is utmost and so in complying with the order, these are the added precautions we are making at the office:
All patients will be phone screened and required to fill out a screening form before they can be seen. If you have tested positive or have had contact with anyone that has tested positive for COVID-19, you MUST disclose this to us. It does NOT mean you won't be treated.
Patients must stay in their vehicles and call our office upon arrival. We will call and escort all patients to the operatory. All patients are required to use hand sanitizer and/or wash their hands before & after leaving the Operatory.
Our rooms have always been disinfected with virucidal wipes and disposables are changed after each patient; however, we will add a UV air filtration device designed to kill airborne viruses. We will also be rotating treatment rooms in between patients to allow proper time for disinfection.
We will be seeing only ONE patient at a time. Please print out and fill out paperwork from our website if you're a new patient with an emergency.
We value our patients and pray for your safety. We look forward to the end of all of this as much as you, but let's all work together to flatten the curve and allow those affected to be able to get proper medical care. Stay home and stay safe.
Love you all,
Dr. Levy T. Do
